Je suis en France (I am in France)

Just a quick note.... I am in a resort in the tiny town of Connelles in the Normandy region of France. I have taken some cool pictures and they will be forthcoming, but with only 20 minutes of internet time (and I have to check e-mail and Ravelry...) I don't have time to post them now.

Duane was sick today, fever and chills and achy joints and stomach cramps... we went to bed early last night, and he slept until 12:30 pm!!! I was wide awake at 3:35 and layed in bed for almost 1 1/2 hours before I decided I wasn't going to go back to sleep. So, I got up and knitted on A's clapotis. I finally dozed off at about 10...got chilled and crawled back into bed with the sicky-furnace that was my honey. We kinda just stayed around the resort.

I will post more soon. Maybe I will have to take advantage of the write/edit/post later features of this blog...

Good writing

We got the grades back for Duane's argumentative policy paper. An A!!!!! And, the professor has asked to use it and other papers from this class as examples for future classes.

On Thursday, Duane will apply for graduation. He missed the deadline to graduate now. Well, get his diploma now. The graduation ceremony is in May, I believe, so he has time for that yet. I am so proud of him. He has been on the Dean's List every quarter!!!!

If you want to read the paper, let me know and I will email you a copy... Or, if there is enough response, I will post it here for all the world to see. LOL
